We are a development-first, kid-friendly, and fun community organization with the simple mission of helping kids fall in love with the sport we all love so much.

The on-screen version of Oakland A’s GM Billy Beane famously said “How can you not be romantic about baseball?” in the movie Moneybag, and no truer words have ever been spoken about our game. Baseball is about athletic achievement, of course, but it’s also about the smell of the grass, the crack of bat on ball, the pop of a fastball in the catcher’s glove… it’s about fathers and daughters, mothers and sons, and all their friends spending a day at the park.

Baseball is the only sport where high levels of athleticism are combined with a highly-social environment during the game. Come by any of our parks on Game Day and you’ll hear our kids chanting all the classic baseball slogans, chomping on sunflower seeds, and proudly representing our community.

In the words of the late Lionel Geller, one of the most important leaders in NDG Baseball history: IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!
